THE BODY OF CHRIST

.....THE "CHURCH OF GOD"

Has THIS HOUSE, WHICH IS CALLED BY MY NAME, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," says the Lord. (Jeremiah 7:11 NKJ)

While I was with them in the world, I KEPT THEM IN YOUR NAME. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. (John 17:12 NKJ)

Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, KEEP THROUGH YOUR NAME THOSE WHOM YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, that they may be one as We are. (John 17:11 NKJ)

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd THE CHURCH OF GOD WHICH HE PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD. (Acts 20:28 NKJ) 

And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take THE WATER OF LIFE freely. (Revelation 22:17 NKJ)

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and ALL THE MEMBERS OF THAT ONE BODY, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12 KJV)


But now hath GOD SET THE MEMBERS EVERY ONE OF THEM IN THE BODY, as it hath pleased Him . (1 Corinthians 12:18 KJV)


But now are they MANY MEMBERS, yet but ONE BODY. (1 Corinthians 12:20 KJV)


Nay, much more those MEMBERS OF THE BODY, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:  (1 Corinthians 12:22 KJV)


That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same CARE ONE FOR ANOTHER.  (1 Corinthians 12:25 KJV)

MANY WILL SAY to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS!' (Matthew 7:22-23 NKJ)

Now ye are THE BODY OF CHRIST, and members in particular. (1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV)

For WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY, of His flesh, and of His bones. (Ephesians 5:30 KJV)

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that IT DEFILETH THE WHOLE BODY, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.  (James 3:6 KJV)

On the last day, that great day of the feast, JESUS stood and cried out, saying, "IF ANYONE THIRSTS, let him come to Me and drink. (John 7:37 NKJ)

You did not choose Me, but I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. (John 15:16 NKJ)

"A son honors his father, And a servant his master. IF THEN I AM THE FATHER, WHERE IS MY HONOR? AND IF I AM A MASTER, WHERE IS MY REVERENCE? Says the Lord of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, 'In what way have we despised Your name?' (Malachi 1:6 NKJ)

For as we have MANY MEMBERS IN ONE BODY, and all members have not the same office: (Romans 12:4 KJV)
